Howdy folks! So we have been going in service and checking out our surroundings. It has such a unique beauty here. I really love the feel of this valley surrounded by hills with the two big mountains standing guard like quiet, strong sentinels. The winds have picked up blowing down the leaves, and a cold front is coming this weekend with chance of snow. You heard me…snow.😳 Just flurries,but still!
So service…is a little different. We are just trying to get the feel of the friends and their way of doing things. They definitely take coffee breaks. Can’t wait to get some calls and bible studies. Everything seems so different from where we were for 23 yrs, the meetings, service arrangements…guess that is to be expected. The little 7yr old granddaughter of our landlord wants to “bible study” with me on Monday nights after school. Reading the brochures with me. Her parents are not in the truth. So if I can keep her attention that should be fun! She’s a busy one.
So as we get prepared for winter, Kyle is off to the Caribbean for relief work, flying to Turks and Cacoes on November 15th! Glad he is busy, but missing him terribly.
