We finished our units on the book of revelation. It was a flying review of the book, we could of spent weeks on it. We are about to witness some amazing Bible prophecy coming soon! We need to hang on to each other! Anyway today everyone wore red (a SKE tradition) on our final day and took our picture as a group.

Kyle came up to see us this past weekend. Our SKE family welcomed him with open arms! It was so good to see him and show him around. We were some happy parents!
Then today we had a class on helping young ones grow spiritually and it was brought out that children are a inheritance from Jehovah. (Psalms 127:3) then we read psalms 128:3,4. Here it says..”Your sons will be like shoots of an olive tree around your table..” in Israel the olive tree was very important for their everyday living, but using the word “shoots” was so fitting because the shoots from the tree will grow right next to the original mature tree attaching to the roots and these support the parent tree. That’s how we feel about our boy. He is truely supporting us this summer and we love him so much and appreciate his amazing support at home. (😢I need a tissue!)
Here is a olive tree with the young shoots growing up beside it.
8 Three times I begged the Lord about this, that it would depart from me. 9 But he said to me: “My undeserved kindness is sufficient for you, for my power is being made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly, then, I will boast about my weaknesses, in order that the power of the Christ may remain over me like a tent. 10 So I take pleasure in weaknesses, in insults, in times of need, in persecutions and difficulties, for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am powerful
In this account Paul had been asking Jehovah to heal him. Perhaps he thought he could do more in the ministry. Eventually he realized what he could accomplish was more dependent on Jehovah’s strength.
The quote we got from this lecture was really good:
“Our strength can often be Jehovah’s rival, our weakness can be used by him as our teacher.”
–That was from Bryan 🤓
Here is a picture I took of the young lady who sits next to me while she was deep in thought, during class. She is amazing. Her name is Felisha Wilson. She is 29 yrs old and has lived in Africa, South America, and most recently was a commuter to Walkill as a welder. So many hardworking young people in Jehovah’s service!
Here’s a couple more of the paintings around the school.
We have enjoyed this new crop of C.O.s and their wives. These pictures are of Susie and Jim Joo eating lunch with us. We love them so much! They are serving their 2nd circuit in Wilmington NC. Their first circuit was in Asheville so they know Ed and Jessie Craft.
Here is what keeps us grounded, looking at these beloved faces on our frig door.A gift to Bryan from Tina.(her nickname is “mama cray-cray”!)😜
Time to have a little rest then work on next weeks assignments!
So just to give you something to think about…so in John 6:53,54 who does that apply to when Jesus said “unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in yourselves.” ? w03 9/15 questions from readers. I’m sure I read that back in 2003, but I sure didn’t remember. (It applies to all those receiving everlasting life-in heaven or on earth)
Another illustration I liked when we were discussing the amazing planet we live on and the master worker Jesus from Proverbs chap 8 was… imagine if you could take a tour of this plant earth with Jesus. He would fly you around and show you all his favorite places, the highest mountain or biggest waterfall, the beautiful rivers and valleys on this globe. All he helped to create. Maybe it would take a month, now at the end of the journey you asked him what was his favorite part…he turns and looks and he would say… “You.” 😢
Here is s picture of our single students. We had a unit on singleness and surprised them with gifts. And yes, I drew them on the whiteboard. 🙄
I can’t believe we are on week 4! We miss you all! But the days fly by and Jehovah is carrying us on Holy Spirit! Every night we think, I can not soak this in my brain anymore! Then we get up and do it again. And to think this is just a whisper of His ways.
Today we had a wonderful lesson on how important our meetings are. Did you realize Hebrews 10:24,25 is not only a command, but it is an escalating command. Because it uses the term “all the more so..” so it becomes even more important as time moves forward, especially now! Meetings are where we worship the Sovereign of the Universe. And every meeting, every one of us has a part, weather it’s a part on stage, a comment, or just speaking to someone before or after the meeting. And Jehovah knows what that is. So much more was discussed!
On Friday we have a unit on singleness. So tomorrow some of us are sneaking off to buy gifts for our singles for class that morning. We really have become a family because we are going thru this together. And we are cheering each other on with our parts! Our young ministeral servant gave our local needs for our congregation (our class). It was so loving and it was amazing to see his growth since the beginning of the class when he was the class clown, goof off to this amazing brother! I was so proud of him, just like a mama!
I got to stop gabbing and get studying! Love you all!!🦋💕
Some off our classmates eating lunchCandy and I discussing deep bible subjects over the water cooler on break.😜
Wow, I haven’t written in awhile. You can probably guess we are getting very busy and homework is getting more intense. So when I’m done studying my brain is just done! This week we have been learning about the history of the apostasy. Which is a lot of reading about the history of religion and the “Church Fathers”. Boy they were stupid. (You would think I would sound smarter after all this education! Hehe!😜)
We did learn today that “goodness” is not just what we do, but who we are..we need to be good thru and thru…go beyond whats needed and don’t complain about it.
I do know it’s good to have family and friends I love! Good night.🦋💕
Some more beautiful artwork from around the school
We all had a pen like this on our desk this morning. A anonymous gift from a class member. (We are class number 77) This goes with yesterday’s class. This is an example of the beautiful artwork around this school.Just Bryan and me on FaceTime with our kids back home.❤️
Hi there! It’s Wednesday so the sisters get an extra study period while the brothers get elder units. They are probably up there watching sports!😂 Not really, mostly learning how to do it the right way. Then on Tuesday and Wednesday right after lunch is our time to clean our rooms. So for 1 and 1/2 hrs those two days we clean our rooms! What! It’s barely dirty to my untrained eye. We have been educated on micro fiber, believe me. I think I have been doing it all wrong at home. Anyway…I have some time to relax. Bry is working on his report on patience for this afternoon.
Putting together little gifts for the next class
This morning we began our units on the Great Spiritual Temple. I loved it!! We are tying it into reconciliation tomorrow. Did you realize when the Great Spiritual Temple began?🤔 The definition is “arrangement for approach to God thru the ransom (sacrifice and priesthood of) of Jesus Christ”. When this began surprised me and will forever change the way I look at things.
Everything in this picture has a meaning for today.
So, most of us can explain what “The Kingdom ” is and why it is important, right? We just had a unit on that subject that blew my mind. I wasn’t so clear on the expression “Kingdom of the World ” used at Rev. 11:15-18. (There are actually 2 kingdoms mentioned in that verse) Especially with the thought provoking questions we are riddled with here! 😳 Once again we are taken to the secret green books ( we joke they are called that, because we have had them forever and don’t use them enough!!)called the Insight on the Scriptures volume 2 page 169 paragraphs 7-9. I tell you, an hour and a half is not long enough for these classes! And at the end we are hungry for more!
Oh also wanted to remind you of the amazing pages in our revised new world translation that sums up the theme of the Bible. Appendix B1. Check it out.. it would be great for service!
