Travels.3

Mr. lemon feeling good..
Can you guess where this is?

Spent the night with Lynne and Joel Widmer. In St Louis. Those of you who know my dear friend know that we had so much to catch up on we barely took a breath! Good times! It had been 10 yrs since we had seen each other. We slept amazingly on her hide a bed! She took such good care of us…doctoring Bryan up with all kinds of remedy’s for his cough.

On to Kansas City for more partying! I feel like we are on some farewell tour! 🦋

Travels…

So is it Wednesday? Spent last night at Bryan’s aunt and uncle in Dalton Georgia. Fun to see the family and receive some great hugs. Today driving thru some pretty country in Tennessee.

Mr. Lemon is enjoying the road trip.

Don’t  ya wonder how much the angels are involved in your life? Driving thru one of the big cities (can’t remember exactly where) yesterday, we had heavy traffic and behind a big semi. Bryan changed lanes to the far left fast lane, unusual because we are not even going the speed limit, when we see a couch in the middle of the highway in the lane we were in…the semi hit it. As we passed without incident we had a shiver go down our spine. Just saying…

love you all. Check in later🦋

On our way…

On the road. We have done this before 28 yrs ago leaving Florida and the family to pioneer in Arkansas.

It was hard then, but it was a wonderful experience and…we eventually came back.

Tears and…
Amazing support!
Leaving the cotton fields of the south..

Passing into the first state, Georgia, with the lemon from Papi’s tree in South Carolina. 🦋

Is this a dream?

It doesn’t feel real. It doesn’t really feel like we are actually changing addresses, locations, and leaving. It still feel like home as I look around. All our stuff is here…just less cluttered. Since we are staying at a completely furnished place, most of our stuff stays here with Kyle. But going we are…2,275 miles. It’s such a mix of feelings, a heavy heart for leaving our comfort zone full of love, but at the same time excited to get to know our new home Jehovah has chosen for us. And ready to work.🦋

We head out in the morning. Good nite all! 🙋🏻

(Oh man, that looks like I’m giving a toast!)

Being patient…

So we were pretty much ready to head out west to start our new adventure. We planned on leaving yesterday. But new circumstances have come up requiring some patience. 😜 Kyle was asked to serve at Walkill for 3 weeks starting the 15th (this Sunday!) We were planning on leaving him here to finish Bryan and Kyle’s work. So…they have been scrambling to finish it this week. With parts not coming in soon enough and the wrong parts sent, it has been stressful for my guys. Then on top of that Bryan is sick with a bad cough and fever thing and barely has a voice! Poor guy!

So in the meantime…

We play cards with the family…
Go out on the boat…
Have family meals…
And go to the beach…

Being delayed isn’t so bad…for me.🦋

My father-in-law says our “outfit” for the trip hauls like a dream! Ready to go!

Saying goodbye…

One of my dearest friends always tells me never say goodbye to her….only “See you later” because goodbye sounds so final.  The hardest part about leaving is not seeing the faces of those you love for awhile…and it might be a good bit before you can look in their eyes and embrace them in person, but I will still think of them every day. And I know they look at the same moon every night. 🌔 And since we are living forever….it is just…see you later.

i love ya…good night…don’t let the bed bugs bite…🦋

Congregation “see ya later” party
