Adjusting…

Sitting here watching the wind blowing off the leaves, I’m feeling a little anxious about winter coming. It doesn’t last a week or two like South Carolina. I keep hearing it’s going to be a long cold one.😳 the wind started blowing in the night and next weekend a chance of snow. Really?

We saw the mountains from the car in service this week. Amazing. A picture just doesn’t do it justice, it’s much clearer with the naked eye.

That’s not a cloud on the horizon.

A couple of guys took Bryan up to the hunting camp in the the mountains this morning in their truck. He’s loving it!

Neil VanWyk and Jimmy Easterly. The one in the middle is my old man.😜

missing you guys🦋

Settling in…

Hi peoples! Sorry I haven’t been keeping up with this, the Internet here at Easterly’s is pretty weak at times. But that’s ok because looking outside is better than looking at the iPad.  We went in service today. Meet some great brothers and sisters at our first meeting last night. Tonight’s sunset…

Then there is my new friend. Her name is Ava and she is 7 yrs old.

Yum!
Our little home

Roses in front of the Kingdom Hall.
And yes there is an Alpaca farm within walking distance from our house!!❤️

Beautiful day…

Getting organized today. Right off the bat this morning Bryan got invited to breakfast with 3 older Brothers. Then went and argued the trinity with Jim’s old friend for an hour. But we took time to see the river…

My view when I was studying this morning.

Travels.7

We have made it to Salt Lake City after 5 long days of traveling. Tomorrow if we do a 10 hr day we would make it to Prosser. Today we saw amazing scenery. Jehovah’s creations are beyond compare.

Look… the world!!

Oh boy….

Mr Lemon went missing for the best sign! Found him napping in the back 😴

Brrr!

Snow!  Good nite!🦋

Ok, so I do not want to travel through Kansas again…ever. Nothing against the treeless landscape but the wind!! It was straight line 30mph on open highways with semi trucks passing! I’m exhausted. But we made it into Denver..and maybe I am being a little dramatic.😜

spending the night here with some more folks from SKE.

Kansas…
But they did have thousands of cool wind turbines!
Almost missed the sign again!🙄
Our blessing from Jehovah! Garrin and Jasmin 🦋

I almost missed the Kansas sign! But you can’t miss this long state! And very windy!💨 not going to get very good gas mileage today. Wide open spaces…and beautiful skies.🦋

Travel.4

We drove to Kansas City yesterday. It was the shortest drive so far! Missouri is actually very pretty with rolling hills and farm land! We meet up with Tina and Paul Leone and Felisha Wilson who drove up from Wichita. All three were in our SKE class. It was so good to see them!!! A couple in there Hall went on vacation and let all of us stay at their house! (Paul and Tina live in a small mobile home with their son) don’t know the people and probably won’t ever meet them(in this system) but they lovingly extended such hospitality. Jehovah is good.

Watching the game with Paul and his son Anthony.
Having hot tea in these mugs we found.
