Heading home…

So we are back in Seattle tonight and flying out tomorrow. We enjoyed our visit so much. The congregation is in need of tender loving care. They have been thru some things but still have such a generous attitude. A lot of interesting old characters right out of one of Louis La’more western books that Bryan loves! There is even a couple that raises and sales quarter horses!

I didn’t get as many pictures I had liked, was a bit overwhelmed at times with the lovely scenery and sweet people.

love you all🦋

On the way back to Seattle today

Undeserved kindness…

Just to fill you in…it’s tough remembering the time change here. Bry and I are so tired by 9:00pm and can barely stay awake! But then our bodies are saying it’s midnight!😣

This has been the most packed in, eventful few days! We went in service yesterday and already got some return visits to call back on. We have gone to the local farmers market. Last night we went for supper at Jim and Kathy’s (I can’t remember the last name!) house where they live next to the river and have a little cottage we can stay in. It was so beautiful there! The flowers! Sorry I didn’t get any pictures of that, I was so overwhelmed. We meet several others there. Including a young couple who go to the congregation on the Indian reservation and have great success but despartly need help. Today we are going to the assembly.

we have received  such undeserved kindness and made lifelong friends already. But then, what else do we expect from Jehovah’s people? 🦋

Love you

This is where we are staying. With Barb and Mike Moore and her mama Julienne
This birch tree in the side of there house is so beautiful!
These are California poppies. Her yard is so pretty, pictures do it no justice.

On top of the hills there are miles and miles of dry wheat farms

In Washington state…

So we made it!! Long flight 😫

Driving in Seattle felt like Asheville, then driving out of it was beautiful…

Then we got to the other side …and it felt like another planet..

We are spending the night in Yakima. Where are the trees? There is a lot of smoke from fires.  Prosser in the morning.

Love ya💕

Adventure awaits…

Well we made it thru hurricane Irma here in Charleston with wind and a lot of rain. We were some of the few that only lost electricity for 3 hrs. A lot of the area was without it for 24 hrs!

That’s our trailer
  • This is the dock that the gang watched the eclipse on last month. That’s Kyle right after Irma passed by.

Tomorrow Bryan and I fly to Seattle and drive to Prosser. Checking out our new home. Well, at least our new  area…only we don’t know what we will live in or how we will make a living…but neither do the birds in heaven.😜

  • Love you all🦋

Back in South Carolina…

Was it all a dream?

Bryan and I are so grateful for the circumstances to go to this amazing school. I would urge anyone who can to make it a goal. We lived in a bubble for 8 weeks where we were coddled and loved and we listened to Jehovah speak to us thru his faithful slave.  Now it’s time to get to work.

We have plane tickets for next week to go scope it out. Hopefully hurricane Irma won’t ruin our plans! 😳 We will keep you posted. Love you all🦋

We can breathe…

So we have graduated from the School of Kingdom Evangelizers! Our assignment is….

Look closely at the map. Yes we were stunned to find out Jehovah wants us to go to a small town in central southern Washington. Kinda crazy, right?!  We are so very excited! It’s Washington wine country on the Yakima river.

Our families just left and we are all processing. It’s all very emotional, the school, the friends we have gained, and the amazing family and support from back home.

This weekend was a time of rejoicing that we will never forget, along with not a small amount of tears. For now I will send some pictures and sign off…for now.

Love you🦋
