The time is near…

thought I would quickly say hi! This week has all been applied to how we will face leaving here.☹️ It has been such an amazing experience. I am ready to get settled in and get to work. Keeping up a quality spiritual routine is vital.

In class
Early morning breakfast club.
Us ladies all wore polka dots or black and white.
And then we get crazy.

Haha! Very funny, some one put us in Alaska.😏

oh and here is a preview of one of our family night videos…

Soar like eagles…

Had interesting discussions today using among other references, “Life” in the insight book. We are all created with a purpose by our creator. Just like a writing pen, we wouldn’t use it to clean our ears! So what does God expect? Well we know Ecclesiastes 12:13 says keep his commandments like preaching, can we just “go all out”for Jehovah? Our lives are limited in this system, who knows what tomorrow brings? He will give us power to do it, we can soar on wings like eagles! (Isa 40:31) Don’t put restrictions on our giving, just run hard with what you have!

I felt so encouraged and ready to do all I can! It’s funny cause last night, kinda hit a wall and couldn’t sleep and was pleading with Jehovah to let me see what he wants from us.   I think that’s part of the process, the more you learn about Jehovah, the more you beg him…what can I do for you! 🦋

They put up a map where we are from today and next week…our faces could be moved to our new assignments.😳

In week 7…

Well, we have less than 2 weeks to go. Our brains feel like a glass overflowing with water and yet they keep pouring. Yesterday we did take a few minutes to go outside and see the eclipse!

Here’s how they watched at home…

It looks like it got a lot darker there!

I think they had a much better view! You guys look so adorable!

We have been working on family night as a class. We all went to the beach for a couple of shots for one of our videos.

That’s Jasmin with the great smile!
We all piled into cars at 7:30am on Sunday and went to the beach.

love you all🦋

More silliness…

Here is life at SKE. Just having fun.

These little lizards are everywhere on the property and occasionally get inside!

The bad example…

I just had to send this photo of Bryan in class today, he had to be the bad example of someone texting and doing all the wrong things while conducting a bible study. We all had a good laugh! Both Bryan and the other brother were hilarious!

These girls were also funny, they had the giggles!

love you all!🦋

The Revelation book..

Hi family!🦋

We finished our units on the book of revelation. It was a flying review of the book, we could of spent weeks on it. We are about to witness some amazing Bible prophecy coming soon! We need to hang on to each other! Anyway today everyone wore red (a SKE tradition) on our final day and took our picture as a group.

Wonderful weekend…

Kyle came up to see us this past weekend. Our SKE family welcomed him with open arms! It was so good to see him and show him around. We were some happy parents!

Then today we had a class on helping young ones grow spiritually and it was brought out that children are a inheritance from Jehovah. (Psalms 127:3) then we read psalms 128:3,4.  Here it says..”Your sons will be like shoots of an olive tree around your table..” in Israel the olive tree was very important for their everyday living, but using the word “shoots” was so fitting because the shoots from the tree will grow right next to the original mature tree attaching to the roots and these support the parent tree.  That’s how we feel about our boy. He is truely supporting us this summer and we love him so much and appreciate his amazing support at home. (😢I need a tissue!)

Here is a olive tree with the young shoots growing up beside it.

It’s our 5th week!

2 Cor. 12:8-10 Reads

8 Three times I begged the Lord about this, that it would depart from me. 9 But he said to me: “My undeserved kindness is sufficient for you, for my power is being made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly, then, I will boast about my weaknesses, in order that the power of the Christ may remain over me like a tent. 10 So I take pleasure in weaknesses, in insults, in times of need, in persecutions and difficulties, for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am powerful

In this account Paul had been asking Jehovah to heal him. Perhaps he thought he could do more in the ministry. Eventually he realized what he could accomplish was more dependent on Jehovah’s strength.

The quote we got from this lecture was really good:
“Our strength can often be Jehovah’s rival, our weakness can be used by him as our teacher.”

–That was from Bryan 🤓

Here is a picture I took of the young lady who sits next to me while she was deep in thought, during class. She is amazing. Her name is Felisha Wilson. She is 29 yrs old and has lived in Africa, South America, and most recently was a commuter to Walkill as a welder. So many hardworking young people in Jehovah’s service!

Here’s a couple more of the paintings around the school.

Good nite!🦋

It’s the weekend!

We have enjoyed this new crop of C.O.s and their wives. These pictures are of Susie and Jim Joo eating lunch with us. We love them so much! They are serving their 2nd circuit in Wilmington NC. Their first circuit was in Asheville so they know Ed and Jessie Craft.

Here is what keeps us grounded, looking at these beloved faces on our frig door.
A gift to Bryan from Tina.(her nickname is “mama cray-cray”!)😜

Time to have a little rest then work on next weeks assignments!

Love you all🦋

Hello

Hello family!🦋

So just to give you something to think about…so in John 6:53,54 who does that apply to when Jesus said “unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in yourselves.” ? w03 9/15 questions from readers.  I’m sure I read that back in 2003, but I sure didn’t remember.  (It applies to all those receiving everlasting life-in heaven or on earth)

Another illustration I liked when we were discussing the amazing planet we live on and the master worker Jesus from Proverbs chap 8 was… imagine if you could take a tour of this plant earth with Jesus. He would fly you around and show you all his favorite places, the highest mountain or biggest waterfall, the beautiful rivers and valleys on this globe. All he helped to create. Maybe it would take a month, now at the end of the journey you asked him what was his favorite part…he turns and looks and he would say… “You.” 😢

Here is s picture of our single students. We had a unit on singleness and surprised them with gifts.
And yes, I drew them on the whiteboard. 🙄
